Speed (their claim)
Minutes. Their claim: Preview ready in minutes (order form: 'Ready in ~3 min'; composing 'usually takes 1-2 minutes'); full song and gift page delivered immediately after purchase
“Your preview is ready in just a few minutes! Once you choose to purchase, your full song and gifting page are delivered immediately after.”
Hear it before you pay
You hear a sample before you pay. Two generated versions can be heard before paying and regenerated 'as many times as you like'. The site calls this a 'preview' and says paying will 'unlock the FULL song', so the pre-payment listen appears to be partial; its length is not stated (homepage example clips run 0:27–0:44). Lyrics are shown and editable before the song is produced.
“Listen to both versions below and choose one to proceed and unlock the FULL song.”
What arrives
You get an audio download, a lyric sheet, a page to share. Personal song/gift page with an optional photo slideshow ('Complimentary photo slideshow'; order form: 'Upload your photos for this slideshow (optional)'). Lyrics are generated, shown and editable in the order flow ('Original lyrics for your story'). No video file, artwork, physical product or streaming release is described.
“You'll receive a full-length personalized song as a high-quality MP3, along with a beautifully presented song page that you can send, share, or keep forever.”
Emotion and sound (samples + reviews)
No Trustpilot profile with reviews. 5 public samples (listen). We have not auditioned a bought song; this score is from samples and public reviews.
Schedule the gift
Not stated. No option to schedule delivery to a date appears on the homepage or in the 13-step order form.
Voice input
Voice input (tell the story by voice): Not stated. The story is typed into a form field ('Tell us your story'). The order form offers 'Male Voice' or 'Female Voice'; no option to record the story by voice is described.
“Male or female vocals, whichever feels right.”
Revisions
Before buying: edit the lyrics and regenerate the song 'as many times as you like'. After buying: a mispronounced name or word is fixed free, and if it is 'not quite right for any other reason' they create one more version free.
“we'll create one more version for you on the house, so you can feel confident you'll walk away loving your song.”
Streaming release
Not stated.
Gifting
Offers gift page. Order flow has a 'Gift Page' step ('Customize your gift page with your photos') and the FAQ promises a 'gifting page'. Checkout asks 'Where should we send the song?' but does not say whether that can be the recipient's address; no gift-note field was seen.
Trust (public reviews)
No Trustpilot profile with reviews. The site's own widget claims '4.9 stars from 2,000+ songs' and shows dated on-site reviews (Sep–Oct 2026). The site says 'Trusted since 2020' and its Facebook publisher meta points to facebook.com/songlycomau. A Trustpilot page for songly.com.au exists (4.9, 168 reviews, listed as 'Song Studio', Australia, only 2 reviews in the last 12 months), but it is a different domain, possibly a predecessor, so we do not count it as this service's score. No Reddit thread or Google review page found.
